Community Planning

ACVO enables the Third Sector to connect and contribute to the agreed Strategic aims of the City of Aberdeen. These can be found in the Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) on the Community Planning Website.

The route to representation for the Third Sector within Community Planning is via the Third Sector Network Structure. Having a collective voice within community planning, enables the third sector to be heard, respected and valued as they participate fully in the planning of local and national policies and strategies.

We encourage partnership working between Third Sector Organisations and also with other Community Planning partners. We hope to be working towards there being no gaps in services and avoiding duplication of service through identifying solutions and achieving positive outcomes through collaborative working.
