Background to the Conference
Every day hundreds of people are quietly engaged in a range of valuable work, delivering vital services across our City. Much of the work carried out in Aberdeen is dependant upon the time and skill of the third sector, providing a valuable contribution to the needs of the City and its citizens. The current financial climate has focused the minds of all organisations on the contribution of the third sector and the need to ensure that we look for opportunities for greater partnership working across all communities.
On Thursday 1st April 2010, Grampian Police restructured its Operational Policing Services for Aberdeen Division to deliver a more community focussed policing model for the City. Like you we are passionate about the service we provide. We want to improve the accessibility of policing services and work with our communities and partners to effectively tackle local issues.

As part of this work ACVO also wish to map the third sector organisations within Aberdeen with a view to raising awareness of the quality and breadth of services provided and the opportunities they present. Take part in the ACVO survey to assist with this research.
