Helping ACVO Plan The Future - With You In Mind!
The views of ACVO’s stakeholders are paramount. Beyond April 2010, ACVO will be the single interface for Aberdeen. The interface combines the roles of the Council of Voluntary Service, the Volunteer Centre and Co-ordinator of the Local Social Economy Partnership.
We are clear that just as business creates wealth, the third sector creates society - giving all of Aberdeen’s people the opportunity to co-operate in every facet of human interest , express their values and common humanity and be independently active as citizens. The economic value of volunteer activity in Aberdeen was equated in 2007 to almost £52 million and the projected income value for Aberdeen was £217.9 million.
To plan how ACVO should respond to those challenges in future, we need to hear your views – wherever you are based, whichever sector you operate within, whatever your size and structure. Please take 5 -10 minutes to complete our survey (link below) to ensure your voice is heard. These views will be incorporated into the ACVO Business Plan for completion by July 2010. The deadline for submissions is Friday 14th May 2010.
