ACVO are delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Paterson as Chief Executive with effect from the 14th July.

Gordon Kyle, Chair of ACVO said today “ We are delighted to announce Ian’s appointment. He has had extensive experience of partnership working at the highest level, and we are sure he will be a great advocate on behalf of our sector”

Ian said of the appointment: "During my professional life I have been fortunate enough to have been in posts where I have both enjoyed the work and working with colleagues.  The post as Chief Executive of ACVO was one that I was keen to achieve, as during my personal life and throughout my career, I have been a member of or worked with many of the groups now included in the ‘THIRD SECTOR’. “

“I was keen to represent the many organisations and individuals within the SECTOR, which has now been recognised by partners as playing such a large part of society today.”

“Having now accepted the post, met the staff and some of the board I am even happier that I will be working with them and YOU in some of the challenges ahead of us all."
